The Oxford Companion to Sugar and Sweets Book Launch — Real Baking with Rose
This stunning, beautifully organized book takes you in alphabetical order from a la mode to zuppa inglese , pages later. An extensive appendix and index are included as well. Oxford's apt description of the book is: Just note that the measurements are for a European audience so you have to do some conversions to Fahrenheit and cups, etc. Not a big deal. Great recipes, also love that there is a menu plan at the end - could not have done the BSD without it! Recipes are easy to make and very tasty. One pretty bad thing is that the calorie count is wrong on most recipes - so don't trust them blindly. And then do it again. It's a shame, because this book's menu plan accounts for calories a day, but if you were to just follow recipes without re-counting, you would be closer to However, it is worth a buy, just make sure you adapt!

The actual diet book was crucial to the plan. Excellent recipes, straight forward and no messing about and easy to follow and the diet really works; in fact it's not like being on a diet at all and you don't get hungry between meals - I would recommend this recipe book to everyone - I am not diabetic, I just wanted a healthier way of eating.
A great range of meals to support your efforts to follow this diet. Going without carbs isn't quite as boring as you think. Great diet and great book.
